Overheard today at P. Figg’s office: New Directions has been revoked amateur status following the club’s commercial outing as Mattress Land ad talents. SuSy’s (pictured) smiling, Schueman’s in tears — but what does this mean for the glee kids exactly?

As per the official intramural rule book of Ohio, any professional engagement of competition participants will “trigger immediate disqualification”. Glee club, it seems, will no longer be in the running for sectionals win this year — or ever.
